Legendary Origin

MOTO MORINI was founded by ALFONSO MORINI in Bologna in 1937. MM was formerly set up by ALFONSO MORINI and MARIO MAZZETTI in 1924.Tricycle was prevalent at that time in Italy. In January 1938, MOTO MORINI started producing tricycle with 350cc, 500cc and 600cc with high performance and low fuel consumption. Since then, MOTO MORINI became one of European market favorite choice.

1946
First best of the year model

Moto Morini's factory was completely destroyed by the war. But Alfonso Morini`s love for motorcycles couldnot be destroyed. Turismo was released in Italy by MOTO MORINI in 1946, and became one of the annual best motorcycle. It is one of the top performance 125cc motorcycle with 2 strokes in Europe.

1952
From two stroke to four stroke

ALFONSO MORINI foresaw the bright future of 4 stroke engine when it did not prevail at that time. In 1959, Corsaro125 came into the market. With a 25kg streamlined engine, it was a combination of high performance and classic structural design. It not only has good handling performance, but also has a gentleman's elegant shape.

Development and growth

After continuous development and expansion, Moto Morini moved to the factory located in Bergami street, Bologna in 1955.The output was more than twice that of other brands in the same period, occupying a large market share.

1963
Battle of honor

In 1963, Tarquinio Provini rode MOTO MORINI Bialbero 250 with single cylinder in Global GP race. He ran faster than Honda with 2 cylinders, as well as Yamaha and Suzuki models. Even though he was not the champion and only 2 score backward, he made it a historical event in Europe Racing.

1971
The feelings of every European

Moto Morini 3 ½ was first shown in 1973. It drew market love immediately because of high performance and delicate structure. It was one of the top ten classic Europe model and loved by all European riders. The coexistence of elegance and performance is the common childhood memory of motorcycle lovers in Europe. It has become an indelible passion in the hearts of Europeans. It is still recognized as one of the top ten classic models in Europe.

1977
Leap of large displacement

In 1977, MOTO MORINI started producing 500cc models. Franco Lambertini created a new 72° V-twin engine with exceptional technical advance：Heron-type combustion chamber, toothed belt distribution control, 6-speed gearbox, electronic ignition. The engine was divided into different units. It can be of different displacements while most units remained same. All these made the model high performance with low oil consumption, and achieved incredible success.

1980
Wild power

In 1980, MOTO MORINI came up with off road model for professional racing- Camel 500. It was 500cc with six-speed transmission and 2 cylinders, which support it won the gold medal in six-day 4T race.

1985
Open the era of private customization

In 1985, MOTO MORINI offered private custom service for Excalibur 350cc and 500cc.MOTO MORINI was the first supplier offer the service and achieved great success. In 1989, New York was brought to the market with more Europe stylish design. It is of 350cc and 507cc.

2005
Entering the new century

In 2005, the naked muscular model was released--Corsaro 1200. 87° V-twin Bialbero Corsa Corta engine with exceptional technical advance was applied. With a compact structure, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder and six-speed transmission, the engine was with higher loading capacity and stronger running endurance. It was designed and developed by Franco Lambertini-one of the best MOTO MORINI designers.

2017
Milano1200

Always at the forefront of the times, Moto Morini has experienced ups and downs at the turn of the old and the new, but Moto Morini still maintains a passionate heart for motorcycles and mechanical aesthetics. In 2017, Milano 1200 was launched with enhanced Bialbero 1200 COrsa Corta engine.It was inspired by model 3 1/2 longing for adventurous riding and Machine Aesthetics.

Moto Morini had been acquired by ZHONGNENG VEHICLE GROUP CO.,LTD. in 2018, and ZHEJIANG MORINI VEHICLE CO., LTD. was established, which is responsible for the global operation of the Moto Morini brand.We aim to bring this brand with a long history and unique charm to motorcycle enthusiasts around the world, and bring more enthusiastic works.
